🔧 Fix POCO C61: Bootloop, Invalid IMEI, No Network

If your POCO C61 is stuck on the boot screen, showing “Invalid IMEI,” or has no signal, you can repair it yourself by flashing the stock firmware and restoring the original IMEI using MediaTek tools.

📱 What Is Stock Firmware?

Stock firmware (Fastboot/Scatter ROM) is the official system software from Xiaomi/POCO. Flashing it can:

  • Fix bootloops or stuck-at-logo issues
  • Restore system files if corrupted
  • Remove root, Magisk, or custom ROMs
  • Resolve IMEI and mobile network issues
  • Boost performance and stability

🚨 When to Flash Your POCO C61

Flash your device if:

  • It’s stuck at the MI logo or bootloop
  • Shows “Invalid IMEI” or no SIM/network
  • The system crashes or lags frequently
  • You want to unroot or undo mods
  • You need to downgrade MIUI or Android version

✅ What You Need

  • Official ROM (Scatter format) for POCO C61
  • SP Flash Tool (Smart Phone Flash Tool)
  • MediaTek USB VCOM drivers
  • Windows PC + USB-C cable
  • Unlocked bootloader
  • Backup of all data and IMEI (NVRAM/QCN)

🔧 How to Flash Firmware – POCO C61

Step 1: Download the ROM

  • Download the official Scatter-format firmware for POCO C61
  • Unzip it — you should see a MTXXXX_Android_scatter.txt file

Step 2: Install Tools & Drivers

  • Install MediaTek VCOM USB drivers
  • Extract and open SP Flash Tool

Step 3: Prepare Flash Tool

  • In SP Flash Tool:
    • Click Scatter-loading and load the .txt file
    • Select “Download Only” (or “Firmware Upgrade” if you need full restore)
    • Uncheck preloader if unsure — flashing wrong preloader can brick your phone

Step 4: Connect & Flash

  • Power off the phone
  • Click Download in SP Flash Tool
  • Connect phone via USB
  • Flashing will start automatically
  • Wait 3–5 minutes until success message appears
  • Disconnect and reboot device
